You have probably been wonder, crying - why hasn't Molo been bloggin?!! Well, I've been busy holed up in the studio working on my show Flood at Gallery4Culture. That's right, I'm blaming my lack of blogging on creating art! You can't argue with that!
I am very excited for this exhibition - this show results from several ideas and directions I have been exploring over the last couple years. It is the cumulation of a lot of thinking and work. But enough on that for now...
Flood opens Dec 2nd, with a reception from 6-8pm. Show runs Dec 2nd-31st. Head over to their website for hours/address. I will be sending out an official press release via my email list, and also, stay tuned for some proper writing on the creation of this show, via the City Arts Blog. Until then, here are a few preview pics of some of the major works in the show -
Flood 2, 30" x 34" oil and graphite on panel, 2010
Flood, 34" x 90", oil and graphite on panel, 2010
Cut Bank, 34" x 30", oil on panel, 2010
